Stop Positioning Yourself For Failure In Your Network Marketing Business?
Are you positioning yourself for failure in your network marketing home based business? One of the sad truths is that most people who get started in their new home business do so in a way that virtually guarantees their failure.
The network marketing home based business industry is an ideal model for every day people to build a viable business for themselves without having to incur hundreds of thousands of dollars (or more) in start up and operating costs. It’s a much more accessible path for people to follow which offers the potential to create life altering income.

Are you positioning yourself for home business failure, or success?
However, because of the way home business opportunities are structured, most people position themselves incorrectly right out of the gate.
Typically, there will be a number of optional ways in which you can position yourself within your company’s compensation program. It’s possible to get started with a minimum investment, perhaps as little as say $50.
The investment required is so low that it becomes very attractive to many people. However, the path of least investment is also always the most difficult path to achieving results. The reason why is that with the lowest investment you will have to pass up more sales or receive a lower commission percentage. Your odds of success are greatly diminished.
As an analogy, if you look to start a conventional business — let’s use a franchise as an example — there is generally only one investment option which equates to the most effective way to launch the business. If you are looking at starting a McDonald’s, you are not going to choose to scratch the drive-through, or scratch the restaurant sitting area, in order to minimize the cost. Your are investing in a business and the business model is optimized to include both. To not use this model would mean you are positioning yourself for failure.
Yet, in the network marketing world, you see people position themselves for failure all the time. People literally cut out the restaurant or cut out the drive through from their business under the guise of making it more affordable. They are operating from the perspective of minimizing the cost rather than from maximizing the value of the investment. And by looking to minimize the cost, they miss the point of starting a business.
Simply put, your goal in establishing your business should be to maximize the value of your investment. That means choosing the most direct route possible to generating the highest level of earnings available to you. And that means always positioning yourself most favorably in the compensation program. Ultimately, that’s just good business.
It’s interesting to note that the few people having significant results are virtually always the people who have fully invested in their business. When was the last time you came across someone having massive results who chose not to invest most favorable in the compensation program? Your answer is probably “never” … and so what does that tell you?
